His first album is raw and honest and open, and his others certainly show less as far as his desire and want. Now he’s got that, and it shows in his other records. He was a young kid looking to get off the streets and make a life for himself, to become successful. However, his true feelings, his motivation and his inspiration for the first one were raw and real. That’s not to say his subsequent albums are bad they’re not. He’s said he’s been inspired throughout this life to make good music and to write lyrics that are meaningful to him, and the general consensus is that his first album is his best one by far. Jeezy has said on numerous occasions that his first musical introduction was something he was doing just to do it, and it wasn’t until he met Redd that he decided he wanted to get into music for real, and much of his music has been inspired by his friend, whom he spent six months living with 24/7 because he was afraid for his friend and his state of mind after being arrested and released on bond. Jeezy credits Redd for this success and for this lifestyle, because he’s the man that got him off the streets and into the studio. Redd and Jeezy met through a friend and became fast friends more like brothers. However Young Jeezy has made several albums he credits to his life experiences, and those include someone by the name of Shawty Redd, the man who has been producing his albums from day one. Some are very open (Taylor Swift, for example) and some are a little more subdued and mysterious about their inspiration with their lyrics.
